Corporate housing

Corporate housing is a term that generally describes temporary accommodation for professionals. It is predominantly used in the English language. The accommodation can be either a self-contained, furnished apartment in a residential building or even a furnished house, usually paid for by the employer rather than the employee. Referring to the Temporary Housing Charter, corporate housing is classified under serviced accommodation. The level of service is lower and stays are longer compared to those in apartments with service.

A corporate housing apartment is furnished and includes all utilities - cable connection, internet and electricity. It offers more square footage to live in than a hotel room, making it feel more like home. Kitchens and storage space are appropriate for the size of the apartment. In corporate housing, residents are provided with laundry facilities. Of course, apartments are thoroughly cleaned between departure and arrival. Corporate housing buildings comply with all health, fire and safety codes.
