‘Apartment of the future’ unveiled in Germany

ASAP’s Joyce Cawthorpe was delighted to take part in the official launch of the ‘Apartment of the future’ in Germany on 25 January.

Anett Gregorius of Apartmentservice.de – a key partner of the ASAP – first launched her vision to create the ‘Apartment of the future’ at the SO!Apart conference in Berlin back in 2015 where operators, developers and investors brainstormed the initial ideas.  A joint partnership group was then created, led by Apartmentservice – together with JOI Design, iHaus and G&S planwerk – who came together, undertook further research and turned the plan into a reality.  A site was chosen in Unna near Dortmund where the apartments were constructed Autumn 2017 and officially launched on 25 January 2018.
