About the accommodation

The Hotel Gräfrather Hof is centrally located on the market square in the idyllic historic centre of Solingen-Gräfrath. Here time seems to stand still. The hotel with its guest and apartment houses, determined together with the local restaurateurs and retailers, the cityscape, which is maintained with love. Different room types offer accommodation for every occasion and budget. From the modern presidential suite, over rooms in the framework to the apartment houses for the longer stay. The Hotel Gräfrather Hof was acquired about 20 years ago by the current owner Siegfried Lapawa and gradually extended to include further buildings with hotel and guest rooms. The Hotel zur Post is located opposite the Hotel Gräfrather Hof; on the same side is the guest house am Markt, which allows a magnificent view of the hustle and bustle of the market square with its historic fountain. In a radius of 50 metres the guest house Alte Schule impresses with quiet nights and the apartment house Kirchtreppe, as the newest object (opening in August 2019), built by generous apartments in the framework. The apartment house In der Freiheit opened in 2017. As it turned out during the refurbishment that the old framework could not be saved, a new building in the style of the surrounding half-timbered houses has been built. The Hotel Gräfrather Hof with its guest and apartment houses blends harmoniously into the tranquil villagescape. All hotel guests have the opportunity to use the fitness and sauna area free of charge. Breakfast is served from Monday to Saturday in the hotel´s Café Florian and on Sunday in the restaurant Klosterbräu, about 100 metres from the Hotel Gräfrather Hof. In the restaurant Klosterbräu you can experience relaxed hours in a brewhouse style. Here authentic dishes from the own Klosterküche as well as drinks specialties and beers according to the own recipes will be served. Lovingly restored and rebuilt, the restaurant Klosterbräu has an unique charm that makes a visit to something very special. Feeling at home while travelling, independently and yet with the comfort of a hotel, the apartment houses offer In der Freiheit - in modern ambience and Kirchtreppe - in half-timbered. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette and is optimally adapted to the long-term stay.
